There is a hidden banking service waiting to be discovered.
Many banks offer private, one-to-one service for certain professional classes. Private banking services have traditionally been reserved for physicians, lawyers and dentists. Medical school students and residents, dental school students and law school students are often recruited by private banking firms during their intern/resident programs and at professional functions. These professional profiles are characterized as low risk customers with a lot of earning potential that are most likely to invest in homes, vehicles, college educations for children, retirement funds, etc. These financially enabled, or soon to be financially enabled people have the potential to be great lifelong customers for banks.

Meet Charles Francis II, “Charlie.” He’s a retired high school teacher and principal from the Delta. Once, during a lesson at church on material accomplishments, he was asked about the most valuable possessions he had acquired over the years of his life. Francis replied, “Just three things. Tripp, Mike, and Eddie.” His three sons.
Francis owns 269 acres in Northwest Mississippi. Financially, the only thing that made sense for his family was to lease the land to a farmer to help provide some income. That is, until Francis discovered the Wetland Reserve Program (WRP). By participating in the WRP, Francis’s land not only helps return desperately needed wetlands to Mississippi, he has been able to convert his land into a dream retreat for his family.
